Verity Mod Bedrock Download Status

Many players search for a Verity Mod Bedrock download, but Java and Bedrock packages are not interchangeable. This page records what we could verify, what is still unconfirmed, and how to recognize a risky file that borrows the Verity name.

Quick answer

As of August 22, 2026, two separate CurseForge Bedrock listings are visible: “Verity - Bedrock Edition” and “Verity BE (Official)”. Their listing pages are not enough to prove that either package is the same authorized project as Modrinth’s Verity JE v6.0.0-beta.7. The verified Java file remains a Forge JAR for Minecraft Java 1.20.1 and cannot be installed as a Bedrock addon.

What the current Bedrock listings actually mean

We found separate Bedrock listing pages on CurseForge, including “Verity - Bedrock Edition” and “Verity BE (Official)”. Treat them as independent platform entries with their own publisher, package and version claims. The Modrinth project metadata we verified is still Java 1.20.1 with Forge; it does not turn a CurseForge listing into the same package.

The careful answer is “separate listings found”, not verified feature parity or automatically authorized conversion. Follow each listing’s own publisher identity, package type, supported Bedrock version and changelog before installing. Do not rename verity-6.0.0-beta.7.jar or assume a Bedrock entry inherits the Java project’s ownership.

Why the Java download does not work on Bedrock

Minecraft Java mods run through loaders such as Forge and are distributed as JAR files containing Java code and assets. Minecraft Bedrock uses a different engine, scripting environment and package format. Bedrock behavior packs and resource packs commonly arrive as .mcaddon or .mcpack files. Changing a filename extension does not convert code between these platforms.

Trying to import verity-6.0.0-beta.7.jar into Bedrock will fail because Bedrock does not know how to execute a Forge mod. The same limitation applies on Windows Bedrock, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Android and iOS. A real Bedrock port would need to be built specifically around Bedrock APIs and platform restrictions.

How to spot a fake Verity Bedrock download

High demand for a Bedrock version creates an easy opening for misleading downloads. Be cautious when a page promises “official Verity MCPE” but does not identify a developer, release history or first-party announcement. Shortened links, password-protected archives, EXE installers and instructions to disable device security are stronger warning signs.

A trustworthy community remake should identify itself as unofficial, name its creator, show the exact supported Bedrock versions and publish a changelog. It should explain whether it is a resource pack, behavior pack, map or script. It should never reuse screenshots from Verity JE as proof that the Bedrock package contains the same features.

  • Do not install EXE or APK files for a normal Bedrock addon.
  • Do not rename a Forge JAR to .mcaddon.
  • Check who published the file and whether the owner links to it.
  • Look for exact Bedrock version support and a transparent changelog.
  • Keep experimental addons away from important worlds and Realms.

What Bedrock players can do now

Bedrock players can open the two CurseForge listing pages as source fallbacks, but should not expect the same Forge behavior, AI setup or feature parity as Verity JE v6.0.0-beta.7.

If you need the verified v6.0.0-beta.7 release, use the Java route. If you choose a Bedrock listing, keep it in a backed-up test world and record its publisher, package type, supported version and update history before regular play.

What a credible future Bedrock release should show

A genuine Bedrock adaptation needs more than an importable file. Its publisher should explain whether it uses behavior packs, resource packs, scripting APIs, experimental toggles or a custom world template. The listing should state exact Bedrock versions because mobile, Windows and console releases update on a different schedule from Java. Screenshots should come from Bedrock menus or gameplay rather than being copied from the Java project gallery.

The creator also needs to explain feature limits. Bedrock scripting and platform restrictions may prevent a port from reproducing Forge behavior exactly, especially local AI services, unrestricted network calls, dedicated-server events or voice integration. A credible developer will describe those differences instead of promising perfect parity on every phone and console.

Distribution matters as much as functionality. The project owner or authorized publisher should link the release from a stable channel, provide a version history and identify the license or permission status. A hash can help confirm that a downloaded file matches a published build, but it does not prove that the creator received permission. Source identity and authorization remain separate checks.

  • Named publisher and relationship to the Verity property.
  • Exact Bedrock versions and devices tested.
  • Clear .mcaddon, .mcpack or world-template package type.
  • Real Bedrock screenshots and a transparent feature list.
  • Release history, update date, size and direct source URL.

Verity Mod Bedrock status updates

This page now records two separate CurseForge entries: Verity - Bedrock Edition and Verity BE (Official). The names identify listing pages, not a verified relationship to the Modrinth Java project.

A listing title or the self-label “Official” does not prove authorization, feature parity or package safety. Compare the publisher, file type, supported Bedrock version, changelog and source relationship before downloading.

The status will change only when ownership, package, version and source evidence align. Until then, listing pages remain source references rather than a direct-download recommendation.

Verity Mod Bedrock FAQ

Can I install Verity JE on Minecraft Bedrock?

No. Verity JE is a Forge JAR for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. Bedrock cannot load Java Forge mods.

Are there official Verity Bedrock listings?

Separate CurseForge listings are visible, but we have not verified that either is an authorized port of the Modrinth Verity JE v6.0.0-beta.7 project. Treat each page’s publisher and version claims independently.

Can I convert the Verity JAR into an MCAddon?

No. Renaming or repacking the file cannot translate Java mod code into Bedrock behavior and resource pack systems.

Will Verity work on Xbox or PlayStation?

The verified release is Java-only. Consoles run Bedrock Edition and cannot install the Forge JAR.
